Rental Inventory Manager Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 30, 2026
Rental Inventory Manager is designed as a local-first rental operations app. The app does not require an account, does not include advertising, does not use third-party analytics SDKs, and does not sync your rental workspace to a Rental Inventory Manager server.
1. Scope and Privacy Contact
This Privacy Policy explains how Rental Inventory Manager handles information in the Rental Inventory Manager iOS app and on the Rental Inventory Manager public privacy and support pages. For the purposes of this policy, "Rental Inventory Manager," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the Rental Inventory Manager app and its developer.
Privacy and support contact: xulisong1989@icloud.com.
Rental Inventory Manager is built for business rental operations. If you enter personal information about your own customers, renters, employees, or contractors into the app, you are responsible for having the appropriate authority, notice, and consent to process that information for your business.
2. Summary of Current Data Practices

| Account registration | No account, login, password, or user profile is required. |

3. Information Stored Locally in the App
Rental Inventory Manager lets you create operational records for your rental workflow. Depending on how you use the app, local records may include:
- Inventory item names, categories, brands, rates, deposits, replacement values, storage locations, SKUs, barcode values, accessories, condition notes, item status, and item photos.
- Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, notes, and operational tags that you choose to enter.
- Rental order dates, selected items, checkout status, return status, deposits, discounts, tax, late fees, damage fees, totals, notes, receipts, and return-condition details.
- Maintenance records, due dates, completed dates, costs, notes, activity logs, CSV exports, and PDF receipt files generated by the app.
This local workspace data is created and controlled by you. Rental Inventory Manager does not automatically transmit this data to us.
4. Camera and Photo Library Permissions
Rental Inventory Manager may request access to the camera to scan item barcodes or to capture item or return-condition photos. Rental Inventory Manager may request access to the photo library when you choose to attach an existing image to an inventory or return record.
Camera and photo access is used only for the workflow you initiate. Photos selected or captured for Rental Inventory Manager records are stored locally with your workspace data and are not uploaded to us by the app.
You can revoke camera or photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings. If permission is revoked, related scanning or photo attachment features may stop working until permission is granted again.
5. Support Emails and Direct Communications
If you contact support by email, we receive the email address, message content, attachments, and technical details you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, maintain support records, and protect the integrity of the app and support process.
Please do not send unnecessary customer lists, payment details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information in support emails. If a support request requires troubleshooting information, send only the minimum information needed to explain the issue.
6. Public Privacy and Support Pages
The Rental Inventory Manager privacy and support pages are hosted through Cloudflare. When you visit these pages, Cloudflare and standard web infrastructure may process limited technical information such as IP address, request URL, browser user agent, referrer, timestamp, and security event data. This processing is used to deliver the pages, maintain availability, prevent abuse, and secure the website.
We do not use the public privacy or support pages to build advertising profiles, sell personal information, or track users across unrelated apps or websites.
7. How Information Is Used
Local workspace data is used on your device to provide app functionality, including inventory management, customer lookup, booking availability checks, checkout, return checks, maintenance tracking, receipt generation, dashboards, calendar views, search, and exports.
Support communications are used to respond to your questions, diagnose issues, improve app reliability, document support history, and comply with legal or App Store review obligations.
Technical website data for the public privacy and support pages is used to deliver and secure those pages.
8. Sharing and Disclosure
Rental Inventory Manager does not sell personal information. Rental Inventory Manager does not share app workspace data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.
Your data may be shared only in the following situations:
- You choose to export or share CSV files, PDF receipts, photos, or other records through the iOS share sheet or another system feature.
- You choose to send information to support by email.
- Cloudflare processes technical request data to host and secure the public privacy and support pages.
- Disclosure is required to comply with applicable law, legal process, fraud prevention, security, or protection of rights, safety, and property.
After you share data with a destination outside Rental Inventory Manager, that destination's privacy policy and security practices apply.
9. Device Backups, iCloud, and Third-Party Destinations
Your device operating system, device backup settings, file providers, email provider, messaging apps, or storage services may back up, copy, or transfer Rental Inventory Manager data if you choose to use those services. Those services are controlled by you and by the relevant provider, not by Rental Inventory Manager.
Review your iOS backup, iCloud, and sharing settings if your rental records contain confidential business or customer information.
10. Retention and Deletion
Local workspace data remains on your device until you edit it, delete individual records, use the in-app delete-all-data control, uninstall the app, erase the device, or remove backups that contain app data. Rental Inventory Manager includes delete controls for operational records and a delete-all-data workflow for local workspace data.
Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support history, resolve disputes, protect security, and meet legal or operational obligations. You may request deletion of support communications by contacting xulisong1989@icloud.com.
Technical website logs for the privacy and support pages are retained according to Cloudflare hosting, security, and operational practices and are not used by us for advertising tracking.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You can control your Rental Inventory Manager workspace data directly in the app by adding, editing, exporting, or deleting records. You can revoke camera and photo permissions through iOS Settings. You can decide whether to send support emails and what information to include.
Depending on your location, you may have privacy rights such as access, deletion, correction, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or the right to complain to a privacy authority. Because Rental Inventory Manager does not operate an account system or cloud workspace for app data, most app workspace access and deletion actions are performed directly on your device. For support email records or website-related requests, contact xulisong1989@icloud.com.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
12. Security
Rental Inventory Manager is designed to minimize data transfer by keeping rental workspace data local to the device. You are responsible for securing your device, passcode, biometric unlock settings, device backups, and any export destinations you choose.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. If you believe information related to Rental Inventory Manager has been exposed or misused, contact us promptly at xulisong1989@icloud.com.
13. Children's Privacy
Rental Inventory Manager is intended for business rental operations and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
14. International Use
Rental Inventory Manager may be used in different countries or regions. Support emails and website technical data may be processed in locations where our email provider, Cloudflare, and related infrastructure providers operate. By contacting support or visiting the public pages, you understand that this limited information may be processed outside your country or region.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Rental Inventory Manager changes, when our data practices change, or when legal, security, or App Store requirements change. The updated policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected on this page before or when they take effect.
